2022

Restructuring of the shareholder structure and the management board

Markus Weber has taken over the responsibility for the sole management of OPUS with effect from 01.04.2022. At the same time OPUS Formenbau GmbH & Co. KG was renamed OPUS GmbH and integrated into the ASW Group with headquarters in Wasserburg on Lake Constance.

2021

OPUS expands its activities in the field of article development of car body sealing systems. The brand OPUS Engineering acts with seven full-time employees as a solution partner of the product development.

OPUS becomes a member of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA)

Recertification of the QM system ISO 9001 successfully completed.

OPUS apprentice achieves 1st chamber award in the performance competition of the German skilled crafts 2021.

2020

Michael Feist, who is already been working as a managing director for OPUS since 1 July 2020, will from now on solely manage the company. Markus Menchen withdraws from the operative management and will support the development of the company from now on as a shareholder.

Since 1 July 2020 Michael Feist reinforces the general management of OPUS Formenbau GmbH & Co. KG.
In the future, OPUS will operate with two managing directors in order to support the company’s strategy and also to react to the very fast changing markets.

We’ve received a certificate of the Chamber of Crafts and Trades of Mannheim for the educational partnership, agreed in writing, between OPUS and the Freiherr-vom-Stein-Schule Neckarsteinach (secondary school with preparatory A-level)
